Outlook Report on Bioeconomy for the Innovation Centre Denmark Shanghai
We have been commissioned by the Innovation Centre Denmark in Shanghai to produce an Outlook Report that will analyse and offer a comprehensive overview of China’s bioeconomy landscape. In that endeavour, we will review China's national and subnational-level policy on bioeconomy, including the 2022 Five-Year Plan on Bioeconomy and other relevant policy documents. The report aims to gain insights into China’s bioeconomy transition, foster effective collaboration and knowledge exchange between Danish and Chinese actors, and provide Danish stakeholders with opportunities to guide their market efforts in China towards a more efficient bioeconomy.
Objective
The report aims to provide Danish stakeholders with insights into the topic of bioeconomy in the Chinese context, focusing on gaps in the Chinese market, policy implementation challenges, and potential Sino-Danish collaboration opportunities to support China’s bioeconomy transition. Based on comparative research and policy analysis, the report will provide concrete recommendations and opportunities to a wide range of Danish stakeholders, including companies, researchers, and public institutions.
