As a dedicated side event of the Global Framework on Chemicals (GFC) International Conference, Tracking Safer Chemicals in Electronics: Stakeholder Initiatives and Collaborative Action will convene leading actors across the electronics value chain to accelerate progress toward chemical‑safe and transparent production systems.

The session brings together UN agencies, government representatives, industry alliances, technical experts, and innovators for a focused dialogue on advancing Targets B4 and D6 through standardized hazard assessment, identification of chemicals of concern, and collaborative tracking mechanisms. Featuring lightning presentations from global initiatives,  including contributions from Apoorva Arya CEO and founder of CIL- the event will map current efforts, highlight gaps, and explore scalable solutions for safer chemistry in electronics.

A moderated panel will deepen the discussion by examining risks, tools, and pathways for measurable progress toward 2030/2035 goals, culminating in a call to action urging value‑chain actors to strengthen cooperation and join the Electronics Sector Implementation Programme.
