Global Supply Chains Forum

The First Global Supply Chains Forum signals a transformative moment in the global movement toward circular, transparent, and chemical‑safe value chains - a future that Circular Innovation Lab champions as both urgent and achievable. Convened under the GEF‑8 Integrated Programme on Eliminating Hazardous Chemicals from Supply Chains, the Forum unites ministers, national focal points, industry leaders, financial institutions, UN agencies, technical experts, and civil society in a shared mission to redesign how materials flow through fashion and construction, two sectors at the heart of planetary impact.

 

Over three days of high‑level dialogues, technical deep‑dives, regional exchanges, and solution‑driven workshops, participants will explore enabling conditions such as traceability, policy alignment, financing pathways, safer chemistry, and circular business models, while engaging with country‑led demonstrations, innovation showcases, and collaborative design sessions.

 

With dedicated programming on sustainable fashion, construction materials, and global value chain transformation and with structured spaces for matchmaking, peer learning, and cross‑sector collaboration, the Forum creates a rare bridge between global supply chain actors and national implementation partners. Taking place at the Palais des Nations alongside the GFC International Conference, the event embodies CIL’s vision: supply chains that safeguard human health, regenerate ecosystems, and unlock circular prosperity across continents, from local manufacturing hubs to international policy arenas.
