KSA Circular Forum

KSA Circular Economy Forum (#CEF25), was an official World Circular Economy Forum side event that convened global leaders from government, industry, academia, and innovation to accelerate circular transition. As a Networking Partner, Circular Innovation Lab contributed across high-level panels, strategic exchanges, and closing discussions.

The first day of the event focused on the theme "Global Vision & Leadership."
The opening set a tone of international cooperation and shared responsibility and counted with the presence of important figures:
- H.R.H. Nikola Petrović Njegoš, Prince of Montenegro: “In purpose we stand as brothers - united by the responsibility to safeguard our planet."
- H.H. Princess Noura bint Turki Al Saud: emphasised the importance of collective progress.
- H.E. Andres Sutt, Minister of Energy & Environment of Estonia: outlined Estonia’s energy-transition strategy.

- H.E. Ville Skinnari, MP of Finland: reaffirmed Finland’s commitment to advancing circular solutions.

Our CEO, Apoorva Arya, led a high-level panel on policy and regulation, bringing together government and industry leaders to explore the structural shifts needed for scalable circular impact.

Day 2, "From Vision to Implementation," focused on investments, digitalisation, energy systems, and sector-specific circular solutions. It included roundtables on:
- Saudi–Estonian Business Council with H.E. Andres Sutt (facilitated by Taavi Einaste)
- Circular Investment Roundtable (Badri Alkadhim & Sami Kivisalo)
- Estonia–KSA High-Level Energy Roundtable (facilitated by Ben Queisser)

Our COO, Arpit Bhutani, moderated the Global Best Practices & Next Steps plenary, consolidating insights into actionable recommendations for 2025 and beyond.

CEF25 demonstrated that circular transformation is achieved when nations, industries, and innovators work together. With strengthened regional and international collaboration, the Forum has laid the foundation for deeper partnerships and scalable impact in the year ahead.
