About
Circular Innovation Lab is pleased to announce its participation in the Panel Discussion - “Circular Economy in Textiles: Global Best Practices in Hazardous Chemical Elimination”. Organised by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the event will consist of a high-level panel discussion on to promote dialogue on innovative technologies, financing approaches, policy frameworks, and global best practices for advancing safer and circular textile manufacturing.
The shift to a circular economy in textiles is essential for addressing environmental challenges associated
with hazardous chemicals. Circularity focuses on eliminating waste, extending the lifecycle of materials,
and restoring natural systems. By adopting global best practices in hazardous chemical management, the
textile industry can align with these principles, paving the way for safer, more sustainable, and eco-friendly
production processes.
Our co-founder, Arpit Bhutani, has been invited to moderate the session, which will explore strategies to
overcome barriers to investment in India’s textile sector. It will also highlight how to leverage India’s
unique strengths to position the country as a leading global hub for textile investments.
