About

EPR is expanding worldwide, yet most schemes still focus on funding collection and recycling...important, but not enough to deliver true circular economy outcomes. This Accelerator session brings together global policymakers and experts to examine what current EPR has achieved, where it falls short, and what next‑generation EPR must do to drive upstream circularity.

Through international insights and a look at the Global Action Partnership for EPR, the session explores design principles such as eco‑modulated fees, ring‑fenced funding, and inclusion of waste pickers.
