Circular Supply Chains In Action

This accelerator session brings the fashion and construction sectors into one room to tackle the shared challenge of building truly circular, chemical‑safe supply chains. Drawing on the GEF-funded Integrated Programme on Eliminating Hazardous Chemicals from Supply Chains. Together with UNEP, UNDP and UNIDO initiatives, the event explores practical, scalable approaches for transforming global value chains.

Through two linked panels, participants examine cross‑sector solutions and dive into the fashion industry as a real‑world case study, showing how circular design, safer chemistry, cleaner production and transparent supply chains can shift entire systems.

 

Featuring live examples from India, Mongolia, Cambodia and beyond, the session offers actionable lessons that can be transferred across material‑intensive sectors worldwide.
